Ametrine

 

Element: Wind, fire

Colour: Purple and yellow

Appearance: Transparent crystal, combination of amethyst and citrine, often small and tumbled

Source: Brazil, Uruguay, Bolivia

Ametrine is a combination of Amethyst and Citrine – a ember of the quartz faily with a hexagonal (trigonal) crystal system and a hardness of 7.
