Some facts about Pearls


Pearls


Colour: White, Gold, Cream, Green, Pink, Brown, Black

Pearls form inside the shells of fresh or sea water pearl oysters where there is irritation from grains of sand or parasites.

Hardness: 2 – 2.5

System: amorpous, orthorhombic
